Proposals to breathe new life into a Grade-II listed building in Preston city centre, which has stood empty for a decade, have been unveiled. The Harris Institute, located on Avenham Lane, was purchased last year by the Harris Investment Group, who have now presented their plans for the building’s repair, refurbishment, and adaptation. To support this impressive redevelopment, MBS Chartered Surveyors have been appointed to identify and specify a program of remedial works to remove the dry rot throughout the building ahead of the major redevelopment works.
